Spotlight on Local Cause

Wyndham Health Foundation: A Pillar of Our Community

Wyndham Health Foundation is one of our favourite local non-profit organisations, providing critical support to our local public hospitals and public health services. We were first introduced to the Wyndham Health Foundation by a previous soccer team of our director back in 2018, and it became clear to our business, that we needed to support and create awareness for this great cause to improve our local healthcare in our growing community. Recently in December 2024, Wyndham Health Foundation ran a successful toy drive for the children spending Christmas at Werribee Mercy Hospital, which we were proud to be a part of.

Community Spotlight: Getting to Know Christine

To help our readers get to know Christine better, we asked her a few fun questions:

  • What was the last movie you saw?
Emilia Pérez. It was a perfect mix of drama and flair—imagine a movie so bold it sticks with you longer than the popcorn crumbs on your shirt.
  • What’s your favourite TV show?
Ted Lasso. It’s impossible not to love a show that turns soccer, optimism, biscuits, and bad puns into the ultimate feel-good therapy session!
  • Which podcasts are you currently listening to?
To be honest, I struggle to find time for podcasts! Between work and kids, free time is either music or collapsing on the couch like I just ran a marathon. Recommendations would definitely be appreciated—help me pretend I have hobbies!
  • What books have you read lately?
I just finished Essentialism, which was a total life-cleanser about focusing on what matters, and I’ve been crawling through Circe for what feels like an epic odyssey of its own—over a year now. One day, I’ll give reading the attention it deserves!
  • Which accounts do you follow on social media?
I’m a news and politics junkie, so my feed is like a world tour of headlines: ABC, SBS, NPR, The New Yorker, NYT, BBC. My scrolling habits might actually rival my caffeine addiction.
  • If you could go back in time, what advice would you give a younger version of yourself?
Slow down! You’ll get there—trust me. Take a moment to breathe in the fresh air, savour the adventure, and remind yourself that even chaos has its charm.
