Nick Calyk is a prominent figure in the Melbourne’s west residential land development sales industry. Nick is currently serving as the Land Sales Manager at Central Equity, a multi-award-winning property developer in Melbourne. With a career spanning over fifteen years, Nick has established himself as a key player in the new land sales sector, known for his strategic vision, leadership skills, and honesty.

Professional Journey

Nick’s journey in real estate began in Point Cook, driven by a passion for property and a keen understanding of market dynamics. Over the years, he has honed his skills in sales, negotiation, and team management, making significant contributions to Central Equity’s success in their land developments. His role involves overseeing sales operations, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Our director, Andres, had the privilege of first meeting and collaborating with Nick back in 2012 when he was a sales consultant at their Featherbrook project in Point Cook.

Under Nick’s leadership, Central Equity has seen remarkable growth in its land sales division. His ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities has been instrumental in the successful sales completion of several high-profile projects in Melbourne’s outer west. Some of the successfully sold projects include NewGate, Featherbrook, College Green, and Gateway.

Outside of work, Nick is passionate about community development and often participates in local events and initiatives along with his sales team. During his spare time, Nick enjoys spending time with his kids and was recently introduced to the world of Australian soccer. You might catch Nick watching a Western United game at their home stadium in Tarneit.

If you could go back in time, what advice would you give a younger version of yourself? “I heard a quote which I really loved which was in your twenties you learn and in your thirties you earn. So just slow down early on learn and experience things the rest will take care of itself.”
